Great title, give a symbolic strong image of the story

Eagle in the Snow
0 of 3 found this helpful Great story line, following the career of a Roman soldier and the people in his life as he progressed in rank and responsibility. The use of actual people and historical events was also educational as to what was happening to Roman influence as it's power was decaying during a time in the fall of Roma. Good discription of events and people. I enjoyed the read, as I'm a big fan of the times and other writers like Steven Saylor and Simon Scarrow.

Book was fast paced, full of action and full of interesting history and the connection to other historical people in the time. Book give you a different view point of Roman conquest.
