Out of alignment?
Does the job it should, but the feet on mine aren't perfectly level, so it rocks a little when you press the keys.
In other words, when the calculator is sitting on a desk, one of the feet is slightly elevated above the desk surface. The gap is small - about the thickness of one business card. But enough to notice.
Fixed mine by sticking a piece of business card to the errant foot. Not a big deal, but takes away a star.

Good quality item
This is well made and nicely finished. It fits the vents well and stays stable. The phone comes off easily when you want to remove it. The adjustment function works well. I had a similar holder which I paid $6 for, and replaced it with this one. The difference is quite noticeable - the Mpow is definitely worth the money.
