One Hefty Pen
If you like to know you have a pen in your hand, then this pen is for you. I have read that it weighs 55 grams which is close to 2 oz. 1/8 pound! It has a really smooth nib that writes rather wet. Writing in a copperplate kind of flourish style is where it excels.
I also have Jinhao 450, 599 and 750 pens. All remarkable values. These are VERY smooth writing pens. they may all be a bit wet but my thinking about that may be because I usually use a fine and not a medium nib.. My favorite currently is the 750, as I like the shape a little better than the 450 and I like the pull off top of the 450 and 750 better than the threaded 159. All of these are amazing writing instruments and amazing values. the 599 series has to be the best value of any product I've seen, pens or otherwise.

Amazing little pen
I got these to replace my small herd of Pilot G2 gel pens. I like the G2 but dislike throwing away pans and/or refills. I've been a calligraphy student in the past and so have an affinity for fountain and dip pens. If you don't mind filling them and the occasional cleaning they're great. These white ones have a fine nib which I like. I have other Jinhao pens that only come with a medium nib which is a bit too fat for me. I would have bought the transparent colored 599 pens but those only seem to come with the medium nib size.
All the Jinhao pens I have are very smooth writing pens and I'm very impressed with the value. The value of the 599 pens is crazy good.
The shipping was quicker than I expected , about a week earlier than the low estimate. Remember you are buying something from the other side of the planet for a few bucks and no shipping charge. Just relax and you'll be happy.
