Highly recommended read
1 of 1 found this helpful I read this book 30 years ago in high school, and I wanted my daughter to read it. I homeschool her and really wanted to share this with her because Anne Frank, at the time of this writing was the same age as my daughter. I wanted her to realize that time has no bounds . . . that 60 years ago, 14 year old girls had the same desires, fears, attitudes, feelings about their parents, etc., as they do today.
I highly recommend this book for any young adult, to realize what people went through during World War II, on a personal level, instead of just reading factual information about our history. This book pulls on your heartstrings.

I love this book! I highly recommend it!
1 of 1 found this helpful I love this book! Melinda Coss is funny, informative, and her instructions gave me the confidence to make my first batch of soap. I have made 4 batches in the last month, with no failures! She guides you through each step with the patience of a good teacher.
I bought this book because it didn't look like a boring, tedious, instruction manual, and was full of beautifully illustrated pictures. Pictures of the finished product are important to me, and it is so satisfying to see my finished product look like the pictures in the book.
I highly recommend this book to anyone just starting out in the endeavor of soap making.
