Nikon 24mm 2.8D camera lens
For many years I would never buy such a short(wide-angle)lens for 35mm film cameras but I would never be without 35mm,50mm,and 105mm lenses for my primary system. In the Nikon DSLR system the 24mm is equivalent to the view seen thru a 35mm film camera with a 35mm lens mounted;that being so,I needed a 24mm lens. If I don't buy a 35mm f2.0D lens(equivalent to 50mm)I will probably use the 28mm 2.8D as a "normal"lens(Nikon DSLR equivalent 42mm)which is much closer to the classic aspect ratio. I cannot make a valid comparison of this product to other lines because I standardized on Nikon equipment 35 years ago.
