Beautiful but very flawed
This is a very odd and flawed product. Most of the sound is produced by its back piece rather than its front sound board. So when you place it against your body to play it becomes very muted. As long as its back doesn't touch your body when playing it sounds ok...but that makes playing difficult. This is a shame because it's an otherwise beautiful ukulele. I do not recommend.

A cheap and fun way to get started
At under $25 it's a good value. You will need to purchase better strings. With good (Aquila super nylgut) strings it's an inexpensive and fun way to learn the basics of the ukulele.

Warm and rich sounding
1 of 1 found this helpful It sounds good. It's a very warm sounding uke with lots of bass sustain. Tuned as a classic baritone it sounds like a good guitar. Tuned GCEA it sounds dreadful.
Although it sounds nice it's very cheaply made. Tuning machines are not very good and has no kerfing holding it together.
Finish on mine is good and it looks nice.
I do enjoy playing it and its warm and rich sound. For its price it gets 4 stars and is recommend.
