1 of 1 found this helpful Turned 55 and with that on my birthday finally full blown Menopause as well. Could not sleep due to hot flashes all night. Laid on top of covers with fan in the winter time with no heat on in the room. After 3 months and swearing if I had kids still left in the house and they disappeared my explanation would be "animal eat their young quote". It was a cruel joke to experience such a big shift in life. In a hot minute!! I'm on thyroid due to Hashimoto and had always been freezing. Went to the doctor to get hormone therapy, just could not take it anymore. Tears .. stress ... lack of sleep. Tried filling a prescription but didn't want to pay $360. Crushed that they gave me a script for something new that my insurance didn't cover, gave in to being defeated. Then thought maybe try something but it had to be safe due to SEVERE IBS. Read all those boxes on the shelf at Meijers. Harmony.... No milk no soy. Started off with 1 pill instead of 2 at night. How can one pill change your life overnight. It was the much needed switch for me. Turn my life back around, giving me a life back. In the three months couldn't even go out around people due to just talking to someone. The flashes would overcome me and had to explain as you have a blank stare, strange positions you'd hold out your body to take the hormonal ride. Have moved up to two pills after a few months. But have found the key to staying in control Thank you thank you thank you Harmony.
