Suitable for the purpose.
I bought this for my 90 year old mother-in-law to replace her outmoded and bulky stereo system. She finds it easy to use, and the sound quality is excellent for her. Its compact size suits her limited living space. My main regret is that I did not have the funds to buy one for myself at the time. The bluetooth facility works well with both my tablets and smart phone, I normally listen to music on a high quality audiophile system and regard the the sound quality of this Sony product to be good in comparison.
