B-52 100 watt head
2 of 3 found this helpful Very loud, wide distortion range, from crunch to brutal. Loaded with tubes and therefore tone. Sounds best with at least a 1 X 12" cab . I use a two twelve , 150 watts at 8 ohms, celestion, custom cab and it really works well.
It is ,after all, a less than $700.00 head new , with inverter tube, reverb tube, six preamp tubes for three channels, and selectable tube / solid state and hybrid rectifier modes it is hard to beat. Tube choice is very important, I used a combination of tubes , from JJ ECC803s high gain in the v-4, and v-6 sockets , to Tung Sol 12ax7a's in the v-2 and v-4 sockets. JJ 12ax7a in the v-5 and a RCA blackplate in the v-1 to sweeten things up. A Marshall high spec tube in the v-3, You can also use a 12AU7 in the v-1 for more clean tonality.
Output tubes are Groove tubes, a matching quartet. With JJ's as a alternate.
And always, always buy tube dampers, they are cheap, reduce or eliminate microphonic characteristics from chasis vibration and extend tube life three times as long by reducing surface temperature excess. Peace !Rock on and Rock long !!

Nostalgia Hot Dog Machine
Works well. Easy to use and clean. The hogs taste much better than microwaving or boiling. Very cool style, bun warmer in the cart canopy . Great for breakfast sausage links and Johnsonville sausages too !! very modest cost as well.
