Casio Lineage is very nice
The Casio Lineage line is not available in the USA. This JDM model is from 2017, but arrived as new old stock. At a glance, the look is impressive -- very elegant and easy-to-read. The black version is not so clean IMHO. Closer examination reveals it is not a luxury watch: the dial is plasticky, the lume for dial and hands are slightly different colors, the metal band feels flimsy (but is lightweight and comfortable), and the face is grayish instead of true white. The lume does work better than my old Casio Edifice (which this replaces). At 9.4mm, it is quite thin for a solar+atomic watch. Has standard 20mm lugs, so band could be easily replaced with something nicer/unique. Overall really, really happy with this watch and it is an outstanding value. Never had an atomic watch before, and great to finally have one (no more DST adjustments!).
