Works great
1 of 1 found this helpful At first, it wouldn't work with my engine. I have proto sound 2 from 2007. I had some trouble trying to find someone with a tui system to set my engine back to factory default settings.
Once I found someone though, they did it for free. It only took seconds, not even a minute to do. Now it works great. My setup works like an even more realistic train. It actually slows down and stops like a real locomotive does. The commander is no where near as expensive as the other systems. Plus, if I get another engine with proto sound 2 or higher, all I have to do is buy another commander and I can control both trains with one remote. I would just put one commander on one side of the setup, and the other commander on the other opposite side of the setup. I have another engine with without proto sound. Unfortunately you can't use the commander with an engine without protosound. My engine without proto sound I am thinking of selling and getting one with proto sound.
