Easy do it yourself kit

Hardest part is taking the old junk out! This is pretty much a plug and play set. Very happy! Working great so far!

It might work, it might not.

So I hooked this unit all up and......nothing happened! The directions say to do a "factory reset" on the engine (1horn button and 5 bell) with a conventional contoller. That doesn't work! I then was told the reset had to be done by someone with the full dcs system. Off to the train shop I went. Supposedly he reset my BL-2 to "engine1" on his system. Well guess what...remote still does nothing. So I am back to my trusty old Z controller and the engine comes to life every time I turn the dial. What a waste of time and money. Piss poor design in my opinion.
