Too expensive, fragile and noisy
0 of 1 found this helpful For a long time I dreamt of having a tape delay. I read many reviews of the TTE and thought I’d give it a try. It was too fragile to take to gigs, too noisy to use in the studio, and required too much maintenance to keep running properly. On top of that it was very expensive and didn’t sound THAT good to justify all of the hassle. I am a big fan of self oscillation and I thought it sounded terrible on the TTE. I can appreciate what fulltone is trying to do here, and I’m sure it is probably an improvement over the design of the older tape delays, but you would be better off getting a Strymon El Capitan or a Source Audio Nemesis and save money and get something that is quiet and gig-worthy.

Versatile pro-quality modulation pedal
This pedal by Source Audio, the same folks that created the Nemesis and the Ventris pedals, is a nice all around swiss army knife of a pedal that's inexpensive and versatile. You can coax chorus, flanger, vibe, phaser and tremolo from this pedal. You can save two presets so it's like having two pedals in one. It's surprisingly heavy duty and made of metal, built like a tank

Worked well
The color matched our scion, the metal bracket really helps secure it. One thing, the tiny nuts that come with it are too small, save the old nuts off the old stock one and you should be good, you may also want to use a couple lock washers. Overall, really satisfied.
