Timney Triggers Weatherby Vanguard/Howa WV1500 Curved Drop-In Trigger - 611

Upgraded from 2 to 3 position safety like the newer Vanguard
My 1980's Weatherby Vanguard factory trigger works fine. Which I bought new in 1982. Just upgraded from the existing 2 position to the newer 3 position safety. Before with the 2 position safety I had to push the safety to (F) Fire to extract a live round. Now with the new 3 position safey the middle position which is a safe position that will let me extract a live round. The new model 611 Trigger has less creep if any at all than the factory trigger. I adjusted the pull from the Trimney factory setting 3lbs to 2lbs. I had to use a Dremel tool to remove very little wood for the safety lever arm to get it to fire. Which I already knew and read about online before buying the model 611 Timney. Also when I adjusted the trigger pull adjustment screw outwards to lessen the amount of trigger pull. The screw end also slightly hit wood stock. I had to Dremel very little in that area as well. Which was unexpected. Anyhow this 1980's Vanguard has the new millennium upgrade, feels sweet and safer. Should have done it sooner.

Blue as new!
Was a little leery at 1st! Well it worked so well with a few scratches on a 1979 Marlin 336. Then I touched up a 1960 barrel for a Browning A5 and a carry Ruger LC9S slide, which got dropped on the concrete and asphalt once each time. For minor scratches this was the ticket! Thanks JT

Nothing but a quality product!
The last 2 Quality Assurance positions I have held, uses the Pelican SabreLite 2000 Flashlight. They are they best flashlights I have ever used. Now I have purchased my 3rd one for hunting, fishing, and home use. They are water and explosion proof. Go ahead and get ya one!
