Kate Rusby - Little Lights (CD 2001)
1 of 2 found this helpful My first introduction to Kate Rusby was when she sang a duet on the Show of Hands album "Dark Fields". I then read a review of Kate's "Underneath the Stars" and just had to buy it to judge for myself. It was an excellent album. "Little Lights" is the second album iv'e heard and although its good, its not quite as strong. I find with most albums, the best song's are usually near the start, but with "Little Lights", the best songs are towards the end. Canaan*s Land is a tuneful song which leads us into the marvellously
plaintive "Some Tyrant". this is followed by "William & Davy" and "Who Now Will Sing Me A Lullaby". These four songs alone, make me want to look on Ebay for my next Kate Rusby album.
