"Samus Returns" with "Dread" around the corner!
It's a much needed remake of a classic portable Metroid game, and upgrades everything in positive ways. The GB original was always straight forward and very linear and didn't leave room for exploration or backtracking.
However, for this remake, they expanded the map and the levels and added exploration and backtracking and even improved the way you attack to make it more of an action title. The music has been redone and improved with a heavy influence from Metroid Prime's style of ambient music, so it feels very much connected to the rest of the series.
Since Metroid Dread has just been announced for the Switch, I recommend everyone giving Samus Returns a chance not just to catch up on the franchise, but to experience how Mercury Steam makes Metroid games.

Great buttons, floppy stick.
I was fully expecting some 3rd party knock off for the buttons and stick, but surprisingly they were actual Sanwa parts! The buttons had a different feel than the usual high end Sanwa buttons, but they felt great. The stick was fine, but for some reason it was really loose and stuck to the right side when released. It was opposite of the video reviews I saw where the stick was tight and snapped back to neutral. That's the only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars.
Regardless, I had no problems playing with the stick. The saving grace of the Edge is it's modability. You can get replacement parts and it's relatively easy to install since everything is Sanwa standard.

Perfect fit!
I got these PS4 buttons and dpad to replace the PS5 DualSense ones. I had to file off one peg from each face button to make them fit right, except the X button, which already fit. My DualSense looks like a classic Playstation controller, now!
