Viking: Battle for Asgard...Surprising fairly good.
I bought this game because I was looking for an RPG for the Xbox 360.
The game isn't a true RPG, more of a hack and slash with a few RPG elements in it, but overall is a pleasent play.
It has a fairly good story line, and the use of real Viking Gods is quite an interesting twist.
The game doesn't have much content, if you are looking for a 70 hour RPG then it certainly isn't the game for you, but it had a satisfying 18 hours for me, when I'd got all the achievements, which are pretty straightforward but keep you entertained.
The graphics of the game aren't anything special or amazing, but they create lands that you can quite comfortably make your way around without thinking you've been sent in a time machine back to the 90's.
Overall, Viking:Battle for Asgard, is just a fairly good game that can be used to pass time. It's good but not
fantastic, and worth the money if you are stuck for something to play. It would also be fantastic for achievement boosting as 1000 points is very easily achieved.

Short, but alright.
The game was rather disappointing for me. It was far to short,I would have liked a bit more detail in the story and gameplay.
The story is mostly what is printed on the back of the box, it goes no further then that,plus it also is a bit hard to follow if you don't check what the story is due to a serious lack of main character dialogue through the game.
It's gameplay is very like the Spiro series, but lacks the Spiro series comedy and crispness. The game feels a bit like someone has got halfway through the plot and design of the game and though "Ahhh that'll do, I'm bored of this now" and hurried through it.
A few points were quite pleasing though.
1: Once you get used to the awkward controls, they are quite satisfying to use. The very quick morphing between the elements and easy sorting system never gets frustrating as similar games can be clunky and irritating after a while.
2:An added bonus is galloping between lands on a horse and smacking trolls out of the way. But it never fails to please in any game this.
3: The game is quite pleasing on the eye, in a simple sort of way. You wouldn't be able to call it stunning (by far) but it is pleasant enough to play through, especially considering it's age.
4: the multiplayer is fun. The game is much more entertaining to play with someone else.
To sum it up, The game is enjoyable to play, but you sometimes get points where you feel a bit like the plot s being fed to you in very small, bite sized pieces, instead of living the plot with or through the character. It leads to you feeling a bit cheatedand the game's been rushed.
I've given it 3/5 because even though it has it's downsides and is very short (I completed it in 9 hours)it is a good play. It certainly comes together more if you play it with someone else more then alone, which is what I would suggest you did if purchasing this game.

Perfect cheese replacer!
3 of 3 found this helpful I'm so glad I found this stuff!. Tastes just like cheese!. Brilliant as a topper or mixed into sauces to make the perfect cheesey sauce!. Tastes like vintage chedder without the smelly feet taste XD.
I would recommend this to anyone who is struggling to find a decent cheese replacer that doesn't taste like a tramps foot or been created from nuclear waste!.
