The Amazing Mr Blunden
3 of 3 found this helpful This is an absolutely superb children's film- ages 8-12 (female). It revolves around a destitute family who are visited by a very strange old man. He persuades them to take up residence in an old haunted house and in doing so, they change the course of history. It keeps children gripped right until the end. This film was released around the same time as The Railway Children, and is of the same genre, yet so much better. I watched this film on VHS as a child and I am thrilled that a superb quality DVD copy is still available on ebay. I would thoroughly recommend this!
