Decent downdraft cooler by reliable manufacturer and supplier.
Rather tricky to install, took me 40 minutes, and have hundreds of system builds! Performance approaches water cooling... cpu temps dropped from ~190 degrees F under trans-coding load w/intel stock cooler to ~130 degrees F which is much safer for the motherboad. Intel i5 4690S haswell 1150 (65W) cpu. ambient temp ~82F. Be shure to check the dimensions of your case and motherboard as everything is freakin' millimeters ;-). Regular ATX would probably work better than Micro-ATX.

Does the job with Soft start. Good tactile response from Display. Quality without cost!
Tested this product today.... works well. Used with 400W cnc spindle for a 3040T chinese router. World of difference....getting much quieter output at full speed and less vibration from the motor. At speeds around 5-10% you can observe the roundout of your tooling... Happened to find out that some 4mm collet from a chinese set was way out of round...without this fine control, I would have missed this defect. So much better than any product with a pot...Speed accuracy can be set to 1%, but this was not verified. Good for machining materials, like HDPE and plastics which require special feed-rates.

Good mechanicals but Lousy Electronics and Underpowered Motors
Good solid chassis, but the steppers, mounts and controller are throw-aways ! Steppers are underpowered non-standard junky 64 oz in. and whine a lot. Stepper mounts are plastic, and the motor couplings are also non-standard 8mm shaft not 6.35mm. No support for limit switches at all. Spindle is like ~250W max --- no way it's 400W as the internal fuse is 5A (for 52V). Works with LinuxCNC at very conservative settings. Cables are not shielded. Controller fan is noisy and on all the time. Overall machining speed is really SLOW.
Probably spent another $500 and many hours upgrading motors, drivers couplers, wiring, power supplies, and spindle controller... If I had to do it over, I would buy a bare-bones chassis with ball screws, and add higher quality steppers, mounts, couplers, spindle, spindle controller, stand alone stepper-drivers and cnc C-10 breakout board. Yes, you can build a better machine than this one from parts !
