After reading the three volumes enough times to lose count I find it delightful to listen to the recordings. Rob Inglis does an outstanding narration adding drama to the text. He is easily understood and paces his reading very well. It is nice to listen rather than reading and better than I thought it would be. I am glad to have the unabridged rendition with the complete text. I would highly recommend these recordings to all who love the books.

A Steven McQueen classic movie set in China. A non-conforming career navy engineer McQueen takes charge of the engine room to the dismay of the Chinese workers. Many other confrontations with the crew and captain keep the tension high. Great McQueen and great cast make this classic a keeper.
