Glen Campbell - Witchita Lineman CD

I bought the CD for the title track which was his first big hit single. The title track is actually some ridiculous & extremely weak medley with "Galveston" bearing no real resemblence to that beautiful top 10 single. The whole CD is a "Live" performance, - & a somewhat poor one I feel at that - so the arrangements, mastering & production of the hits bear no resemblemce to the way you know them - be warned!!

Yesterday Once More - The Carpenters

This is a digital remix of the album of the same name that originally came out in vynl about 25 years ago. The remix is a perfect & faithful reproduction of all the Carpenters biggest hits - including the no.2 peaking title track. The mixes all sound exactly as you would hope & as you remember them - Nothing missing or sounding amis as you get on some cheap compilations these days. The tracks include all of the Carpenters hits, including such clasics as "We've only Just begun" which only peaked at no.22 over here, & "Only Yesterday" I bought the CD as a 50th birthday present for my mate's mother - & she was thrilled with both the quality of the recordings & the breadth of the hits on it. All in all an excellent buy. - Gary
