Sloppy fit
Might be ok for a double stack but not a good fit for single stack seven round magazines. Velcro just barely catches. I highly doubt I’ll use it for EDC.
Might be a better fit for double stack that holds more rounds.

Could use some refining
Nice holster and quality leather. Could use some refining on the thumb break. I stretched it some with the help of silicone spray. Still difficult to snap after re-holstering gun. I found it easier to use my thumb to roll the strap over the slide to unholster, then roll it back when reholstering.
The other issue that needs work is near the trigger guard. It extends back a little far so you don’t get a perfect grip to unholster.. I’ll do a little work on it to make it more comfortable to my personal liking.
This is for a Ruger ec9s so everything is compact, but could be more user friendly. Accessibility and ease is most important. Be sure to practice unholster I gotta and bolstering with this holster and any other you holster. That’s just as important as hitting your target.
This is my second tagua. I like the other one very much and may go back to it for my conceal carry. It has a magazine pouch incorporated on it. It just takes a little more real estate to carry.
I removed the metal belt clip on this one and just looped it on my belt. I’ll try it for a couple of weeks and if I find myself thinking and worrying about it, I’ll go back to the first on until I find something better.
Keep in mind, everybody has their own preference and opinions, so what I dislike might not matter to the next person. My years in law enforcement just make me more attentive to certain things.
I think tagua has some great holsters though.
