It functions but very loud.

The server booted well. I am acquainted with Dell and HP servers. Worked on them for over a decade I disposed of the 12 year old hard drives that came with the server. Hard drives and fans get louder as they age. Maybe suitable for a basement but not on the same floor where you sleep. As such, I cannot use this server for my intended plans.

Dell Server R210 II

Server works great. It is configured as a firewall . However, somewhat disappointed that it was mentioned that the drive tray was missing. Overall a good unit and working well. I believe this will provide reliable service for a long time.
