DAVID MCCALLUM Music: A Bit More Of Me CD new mint
20 February 2017
Title of my review.
Easy listening hits of the mid sixties. No vocals (do want the Man from UNCLE/Duckie singing ??) but better than Musak. I could live out the Batman Theme, but other than that it was enjoyable. Also, the "15 Candid Full-Color Snapshots" of Mr. McCallum all fit on a card the size of the CD. (but I didn't buy it for the action sequence of Illya Kuryakin).
ELECTRIC PRUNES - Mass in F Minor - CD vg

Title of my review.
OK, truth be told, I bought this because of curiosity. While I did grow up in the 60's/70's I was unfamiliar with the Electric Prunes music, -I was more into the Jefferson Airplane. When David Axelrod died, The article mentioned his work with the Electric Prunes on Mass in F Minor. The article mentioned his combining the element of church music, pop music and Psychedelia. An interesting concept but not that interesting in application. It does feature 60's ear psychedelic guitar work but that not enough to make t all that interesting for this baby boomer. But it' music, your taste won't the same as mine.

The Spirit Archives, Volume 26, After the Section, 1952 to 2005, Will Eisner

Try one, you'll want them all !
I've been looking for this volume of the Spirit Archives for years. The Spirit was a ground breaking comic and Eisner was a genius at wat he did.
