The hardcover book I ordered and received is exactly as pictured and described, arrived shrink wrapped from the publisher and was wrapped in bubble wrap and shipped in a sturdy box. I wish all book sellers packed and shipped their books as well as this seller does.

Great book, but it should have the models’ faces.
Seller and price were amazing. The only thing that made it a 4 instead of 5 is that I believe that the faces of the models should have been shown. I understand that the theme of this book was “Supersized,” which is to do with ONE part of the male form. I just think that the book would’ve been much better if it featured faces. That being said, I am happy with my purchase and would have bought the book even if I knew it would lack faces.

One of Freeman’s Best
Paul Freeman’s work is always compelling and beautiful. I would say that this is one of his more unique journeys with costuming and that’s really the reason why I bought it. The beauty in the costumes from Roman gladiators to what looks like French revolutionaries to other historical “heroes” is definitely worth it; this will be a featured book on my shelf for the rest of my life.
