Excellent quality and value
1 of 1 found this helpful Excellent price for a genuine Thule roof box. I ordered a small unit to hold a spare wheel for my 4WD vehicle, that did not have the capability to store in the car. I collected from PF Jones showroom which had the biggest display of Thule products I have ever seen. They carried the box to my car and also disposed of the packaging. Brilliant service.

Good quality but inaccurate instructions
The quality of the roof rails and cross bars was very good. The cross rails are shaped like an aero wing, so not very practical for use with roof box fittings that require a symmetrical shape to fix onto. The roof bar instructions consisted of one fuzzy photo of the whole roof bar on the car and not detailed enough to show the fitting. The instructions were incorrect for my 2009 model and I had to remove the existing roof fixing in order for the supplied fixing to fit into place. I also used silicone to make sure the bolt holes were water tight, been fitted in the actual rain gutter, I can imagine this is a real water trap.
The instructions for the cross rails were diagrammatic and clear to follow. However they are both the same width and the rear rail will not push all the way to the back of the roof rail, because it narrows from front to back. For the price they represent good value for money. The delivery took 5 working days, which is quite a long time for standard delivery.
Overall a good product, but attention to detail lets it down a bit.
