I'm a American History buff, with an appreciation for the Civil War period and other 18th and 19th Century eras. I've hand painted soldier and built military models since childhood, and apply that knowledge and skill into my ebay items!

The Reason The Union Stayed Together...
1 of 1 found this helpful Obviously a very well researched book! The author did an outstanding job of putting together so much information about Abraham Lincoln (and boy, could we use him NOW!), and his very interesting cabinet. While I've done a large amount of reading on the Civil War, and several books on Lincoln, this is probably the best compilation of Lincoln's life and personality, his interactions with people, and still does a decent job of bringing the Civil War into the story without going into unnecessary detail on it. I find it difficult to put the book down, and while I'm only halfway through it now, I'm on page 498! So this is one you'll be reading for a while, and I'm certain the author spent at least ten years researching it! If you enjoy learning about Lincoln, this is definitely the book for you! It becomes very obvious how intelligent, empathetic, personable and crafty Mr. Lincoln was, and without all of those traits, we probably would not have seen the results of the Civil War as history records them - he was the reason!

Factory Recommended Filter! Works very well
I like the product, but the value for this item was less than I expected as the photo shows three filters, and the description only notes there is just one filter. Possibly a photo of just one filter would have made me look at other priced items.

ICM Produces a Needed Group of German WW II Drivers!
German 1/35 scale drivers in kit form, one officer and three conventional German soldiers that can be used to supply drivers to models that are not sold with figures. While many kits have a driver, many others do not, and these figures are excellently depicted t fit those needs! And like evey ICM kit, the figures are excellently scaled, posed and supplied with all equipemtn needs to make a superlative kit into some great looking figures and then paint them as you desire!
