FV432 Bulldog
This kit is an excellent representation of the venerable British FV432 brought back to life with a re-fit, including new power train and armour upgrades for Op TELIC. A great kit, with superb, crisp detail and two configuration options. The only criticism is the lack of barracuda covering on the top of the hull, which you do see in the cromwell kit. Still, unlike the cromwell kit, the Takom kit is widely available, cheaper and easier to construct. The barracuda covering can be added by scratch build with other aftermarket products like Tetra, DEF cam nets. Great to see Takom digging into slightly more obscure or obsolete equipments, not letting them slip away into history unrepresented in the modellers' portfolio. More Vehicle Number Plate options could have been provided in the decal sheet, but again these are easy enough to scratch print. Great additions to this kit are Masterbox's Modern British Infantry in Desert DPM, with a bit of modification on the Osprey configuration to add collars and shoulder coverings for those on top cover. A fantastic buy, go out there and get yourself one if you are a modern AFV modeller.
