Shocking Experience
1 of 1 found this helpful Bought the package and sat on my desk for a month until my Blu-Ray SATA drive came in. Remember when CDROMs first came out? Getting it to play on my 1920x1200 Dell 2405FP was like pulling teeth because of the HDCP requirements. Used AnyDVD to circumvent the restrictions, upgraded drivers, fixed SATA cable and shuffled computer internals around. When it came time to try out the disks, the first time it played, I was shocked and I've never seen something so detailed and brilliant play on the monitor. Of all the movies you want to have that initial "blown away" visual experience watching it on a full screen 24" monitor--this is the one.
Similar how Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon CD shocked the music world into how different the CD music experience could be, these are the disks that will do it for Blu-Ray.

Most long lasting and useful laptop bar none
That title sounds like an exaggeration, but I bought my wife this laptop in 2008 as an overstocked item for extremely cheap. Other than maxing out the memory and swapping in an SSD and even upgraded the CPU to the fastest they had, this is one of the all time greatest bargains of laptop history. The keyboard is fullsized. The monitor is great. Both the original and upgrades are more than fast enough for anything you want to do on it. As part of the upgrades, I swapped the blue body and motherboard they had for the rose colored one. It's perfect for mobile around the house work or schoolwork at a huge fraction of anything that's come after it. Both my wife and I have been through multiple laptops, but this is the one that's outlasted them all.

Excellent replacement, great price, just plug in battery and sit it in the cradle and it's all set up!
1 of 1 found this helpful Our phones take a beating and we never have enough handsets as they seem to magically migrate from room to room. I had bough all new battery packs and extras a few months ago, but one handset that had taken several beatings went out. I bought a couple extra handsets, plugged the battery pack in, and set it on the cradle of the base station and it was instantly usable. No interference from anything else in the house and great audio and connection anywhere in the house.
