120V 500A Battery Monitor High and Low Voltage Programmable Alarm Voltage Tester
23 April 2021
e.trace 500A battery monitor works well
I installed the e.trace 500A battery monitor on a bank of 12 volt 105Ah AGM batteries which is charged by 6 - 260 watt solar panels and 6 - Epever 1206AN solar charge controllers. The battery bank is configured as a 24 volt 420 Ah "battery". I use a more expensive battery monitor on my sailboat, but at home I wanted to save some money and bought this monitor because it had the features that I wanted and is the spitting image of a Renogy battery monitor. It seems to be doing the job well. After the sun goes down, it shows the amount of power in Amps and Watts that my equipment pulls from the battery bank. During the day, it shows the amount of power being delivered by the solar charge controllers, minus any loads, to the battery bank. I want to ensure that I can manually monitor the amount of power in the batteries, and know when it approaches 70%, which is the lowest I want the battery bank to dip between charges. I keep adding devices to the load, and so far the battery bank has only dipped to 95%. I recommend this battery monitor.
GE 1087TM WIRED SURFACE DOOR WINDOW CONTACT SENSOR NORMALLY OPEN CLOSED NC NO
30 March 2016
Surface mount form C contacts work to turn LED lights on when door is opened.
I bought these SPDT contacts to turn on low-current LED lights inside a cabinet in my boat that contains several valves. I don't need a flashlight now to see what I'm doing! These were just the right contacts, and the make/break range is just over 1/2 inch.
1.5M USB CAT Programmed Cable for Kenwood TS-440 TS-450 TS-680 TS-690 TS-790
06 January 2019
CAT program cable for Kenwood transceivers with DIN-6 works great with Omnirig and SDRuno.
I am joining the party late, when it comes to controlling my Kenwood TS-440S with my laptop, but late is better than never. This TTL to USB level converter works perfectly with Omnirig and SDRuno. Follow the instructions under Section 14: CAT in the SDRuno user manual and use the resources on the RSPplay forum page: Board index, Rig Control, Using your RSP as a panadapter. Download the drivers for your OS (I use Windows 10) supplied by sinoprice. I am prevented from supplying the link in this review. When I finished installing the drivers, Omnirig, SDRuno, and following the instructions in the SDRuno owners manual, I plugged the DIN 6 cable into the back of the rig, made some changes to the SDRuno and was pleased to see that the TS-440S responded by immediately changing its displayed frequency to the one on my computer screen. Conversely, I was able to spin the dial on the TS-440S and see the frequency change on the SDRuno display on the computer. Fantastic! The label on the cable says: LD-C105 for Kenwood (DIN 6).
