Perfect Inlet valve for perfect flush
I'm not a professional plumber so changing a bottom entry inlet valve in the Fowler toilet ca be a challenging task because unless the fit is perfect water will drip from the cistern or if the locknut is tightened too much the cistern will crack. The Fluidmaster inlet valve Pro 45 is accompanied by: 1. easy to follow instructions and 2. a warranty ( full details of the warranty are on the Fluidmaster web site ) and 3. a sealing washer which is placed on the threaded shank which passes through the hole in the cistern. When I installed the inlet valve I followed the easy to follow instructions and the entire process was completed without any problems. The sealing washer on the shank seems to stop leakage which means that the lock nut can be gently tightened by hand. The toilet has been in operation for just over a week and it looks like my handyman skills are as good as a professional. No leaks. No cracks. Perfect flush. Awesome.
