Worth your money
1 of 1 found this helpful Its obvious how cheap this is, so in short - is it worth it?
Of course - providing the following:-
QUALITY
LEDS could be a little brighter - HOWEVER experience will tell you your lights are as bright as your batteries are strong, and using strong, fully charged batteries, this light is clearly visible in broad daylight. It is therefore effective as a marker light.
It has only three modes - but these are the most important ones including flash and static.
It is slightly lightweight construction compared to others - showing the cost saving.
Holder and strapping are suffciently detailed to allow easy mounting and then accurate positioning and direction.
This design is very similar to the CATEYE product, that in my opinion is superior quality. HOWEVER the CE that I am replacing here was pinched (suprise, suprise) and also cost six times what this one did.
Therefore - I will be able to keep replacing these for approx the next eight years before I exceed what I spent on my orginal CE.
Overall the unit is a little basic, but in reality spectacular value.
A final warning - remember, even if this only cost you 3quid, the rechargeable batteries I left inside my last CE were definitley worth making sure they don't pinch it again. So do don't leave them on the bike.

BRIGHT, LIGHT and close to perfection.
Light enough to easily carry stand and light bar in a single hand. Very compact.
Bright enough to light up individuals.
Could be used for flood, footlight, up-light, flashing or dancefloor effect lighting.

Has DMX capability
Each of the four lamp heads has 81 LED's that shine in three colours or combine to make white.
More than 20 programmed sequences and colour combinations.
All I needed was personal lighting for occasions where the house lighting cannot easily be isolated from the presenter/performance area. This does it brilliantly. It does not quite have enough power to flood a large room or stage by itself, but would work very well as part of an integrated display for larger settings. By itself it was still effective at 20m range.
The product is very well designed and though light to carry, still feels like robust quality.
Outstanding value. Looks worth every penny.
