Works well.
Laptop now has a USB3 port which works as intended. The only drawback is if the USB plug is tight, inserting or removing it will eject the Express Card instead. Not perfect, but really only a minor nuisance.

You can't do better than genuine Anderson
First-grade quality shells and contacts, you can't do better than the genuine Anderson product.
Despite what the Connector Tech website says, black SB50 shells WILL mate with grey SB50 shells, which is exactly what I needed for my application. (All the other colours will only mate with their own colour.)
