Wonderful read -- absolutely a masterpiece!
I have read this book at least a dozen times, and it never fails to make me laugh out loud. Bryson has a droll, self-deprecating humor that hits me where it counts each and every time. In addition, he has a wonderful use of language to bring anyplace he's been to to life with a richness and luster seldom seen outside an album of photographs. I have purchased his books in quantity over the years to share with others, and have yet to meet someone who doesn't fall in love with him the way that I did. He's definitely on the list of Top Ten People I would Like to Share a Latte With.

Little pieces of Japanese nostalgia
This is my second purchase from the 1/32 Owners Club and I have to say these are truly delightful little miniatures. They're relatively simple, well-detailed and are representations of vehicles found nowhere else. I'm planning a small diorama with this along a typical Japanese back alley in the 1960's with a load of milk bottles. I can't imagine a nicer, more pastoral scene. Highly recommended.

Very funny
A charming movie, with delicate Victorian sensibilities being trounced all around. Includes perhaps the most delicious character ever done -- the "World's Most Boring Man." The only let down to putting it as "excellent" is the rather pointless ending chase scene, which was not in the book and doesn't seem to add anything to the story. Otherwise, the performances are delightful and well worth a watch.
