Motherboard for Nexus 7 makes old tablet come alive
Nexus 7 tablets die prematurely because of failing flash chips.
Instead of thrashing a nice device, a quick repair with a new motherboard makes
it as good as new. For a total of $10 you can't go wrong, and I didn't.

NEO WiFi USB Siren Alarm with noisy sounds and weak LEDs
The alarm works but the sound is feeble and very noisy. It does not give you crisp alarm sounds although you do have some 10 different tunes to choose from. The blue blinking lights are a joke. You hardly notice them. I had hoped for some bright red flashing LEDs when the alarm triggers,
but instead we have these little blue ones. Overall it is functional and does make noise. So the based alarm function is fine and the device is easy to control in the Smart Life app. Why it has "sensor" in its name is a mystery to me: there is no sensor on board.
