Poor design
Received tail gate lowering retardant struts and with a little research (no installation instructions) I fitted the struts......and then discovered when I try and close the tail gate the tail gate hinge bracket fouls on the rose joint of the strut. I then tried all combinations of both LH and RH brackets with no result. I will need to modify the tail gate hinge bracket pin to allow the rose joint to NOT foul on the actual bracket. Very poor design.😒🤦‍♂️
