The 3000 Watt inverter broke when I plugged in an appliance. The 240V power socket just clips together ( very flimsy ). As I am remote currently I have opened the inverter and put the power socket back together, it will break again. On opening the unit the capacitors and wiring are half the size of the 3000 watt inverter that this unit is replacing so I am unsure of the actual rating of this unit. I am sure this inverter will fail As a result not happy with my purchase
