Medium Grey Raised Twin Dog/Puppy/Cat Wet & Dry Feeding Bowl Stand Food/Water

Assistance for elderly dog ...
We have a 14 year old Cocker Spaniel who was obviously struggling to bend down to eat her food from dog bowls placed on the floor; possible causes (according to the vet) being old age, stiffness of neck joints and arthritis. Since purchasing this item, mealtimes are no longer a struggle for her, so we highly recommended it to owners of loved pets, with similar issues.

Nokia E71 Smartphone
My partner and I wanted to move on up to receiving emails on our mobiles and we looked at several different Smartphones before deciding on the E71. Yes I know the iPhone 3GS (at the time of this review) was rated as the most popular Touchscreen phone, but we didn't want a Touchscreen phone. We wanted a push button phone that was slimmer than our previous Samsung G800 and cheaper than the Blackberry Bold 9700. The E71 scored well on both points and once we’d got our hands on one we could easily see why. The initial setup wizard was very easy to use and the email wizard had my Gmail coming down to my phone in no time at all. It was really easy to customize which LAN, Mobile Network or Wi-Fi access point would retrieve my email, and decide on what time of day it would automatically b retrieved. Very handy if you don't want your phone beeping all night when your email arrives! Unlike the Bold 9700 (that requires a paid subscription to the Blackberry email servers before ANY email can be accessed) the E71 required no such additional subscription to be paid to the Network provider. The buttons are neatly laid out on the phone and the screen is really clear and sharp. All of the menus were easy to access and the default sounds available were surprisingly good. Bluetooth compatibility with my hands free device worked well and was very easy to setup. You can rest assured that we gave the E71 lots of work to do and it passed every test with flying colours. My partner so fell in love with it that she now uses it as her main mobile phone and we jointly scored it 9/10. Why only 9/10 you say (if it’s such a good phone) well here's why: The Font Sizes are not customisable across all applications, and the Large Fonts do not work unless you first of all select Normal Fonts then immediately afterwards select Large Fonts. I know this sound really naff but its true (and well documented on the Nokia website and on Google) plus the available Large Fonts are not nearly big enough for people aged over 50 years. It is possible to overcome this issue by paying for and downloading Psilac Font Magnifier, but why should we have to pay for something that is already available on most other phones?

iPhone & Galaxy S - not in the same league!
Whilst the iPhone might feel better in your hand and have more 'street cred' amongst the younger generation; the Galaxy S is much lighter, thinner, and more appealing to your eye … the HTC Desire HD in my opinion wins hands-down every time when it comes to build quality, performance and usability. The fast processor ensures that all screens change effortlessly, the menus are easy to access and open quickly, and the camera is 1st class in both picture mode & video mode. The images are crystal clear, easy to preview or delete, and zoom-able once they’ve been saved. I use Wi-Fi all the time in my work and my saved hot-spots connect effortlessly every time. The same goes for my Bluetooth hands-free kit. All other features work well on my phone and it does everything it says in the manual. As with all other high-end smartphones the battery life could be better, and needs charging every other day. I understand a higher rated replacement battery is already being planned for this, and the next model, so at least HTC are listening to our comments. The only real negative point, as far as I am concerned, is the fact that the speakerphone is very very poor. Yes I know you are supposed to use headphones when listening to music (and I also know that the sound when using the Dolby system is 1st class) but after having a Sony Ericsson W995 ‘walkman phone’ I’ve sort of got used to hearing good quality sound through an onboard speaker, and I really miss that. Downloaded ringtones and music that I’ve used many times on all of my other phones sound really tinny when played through the onboard speaker and the sound effects (that are available when using headphones) are not available when using the speakerphone. Despite this minor irritation, I would till rate the HTC Desire HD at 9/10.
