Works as advertised.
Bought so as to add a halfway decent graphic card to my server-based (Moar corez!) chess computer. I had to carve the end off one of the connectors to allow a PCI-E x16 video card to fit - this was easy enough to do with an x-acto knife. (Unfortunately, the x16 riser cards are quite a bit more expensive.)

Big suckers that work well.
Plenty of surface area allows these to work well with a reasonably quiet fan. The low profile SNK-P0042P sinks require a much louder fan to maintain acceptable temps.

"Death Valley - Beyond the Fluff!" Not a 'light' read, but not unfathomably technical either.
Highly recommended for those with a genuine curiosity about the area and its history. While the book is a great intro to all things Death Valley, it also digs into greater depth on most topics. The geochemistry, in particular, gets a little hairy for anyone without a formal chemistry class or two. If you're a 'reader,' this is your book! :)
