Hothouse Flowers - Home (CD 1990)
The Hothouse Flowers are fantastic! I saw them live at the Buxton Opera House 2007 and they get better as they get older, still not as old as me though! They played to a packed house, all ages, and everyone who could was in the isles dancing! Their CD's are a great mix of contemporary Irish folk rock, still with those Irish drums, and penny wistle, and with the odd Gallic song, sung in Gallic, thrown in. I have several of their CD's and enjoy listening to them all. 'Home' is no exception and is very good from start to end. But if you can, see them live!
