Does the job reasonably ok.

A good little flame weeder that does the job ok. Not as good as a propane or diesel burner, but still quite effective, and good value for money. The igniter failed quite quickly, so I use a cheap gas lighter to light it, not a major problem. Like all devices that use these butane cartridges, it suffers from slow gas take-off. When the cartridge is warm, the gas comes off quite quickly and it burns well, but the bottle soon gets cold, and the gas rate slows dramatically, affecting the torch's ability to burn. If you only use it for a few minutes at a time, with a warm bottle, it burns very well.

Ok at first...

It is a pretty effective filter, but the sealing is woefully inadequate. It works ok at first, but after around a year it won't seal anymore. I can't see anything wrong, but it has suddenly started leaking around the seal. Not just a minor leak either - it emptied my 200L fish tank all over the floor while I was at work. Because there is only one o-ring seal, there is no failsafe at all. If that one seal doesn't seal properly (and I don't know why it isn't, I can't see any damage), it will immediately leak.
