Free cloud storage, no wires, no batteries
Free 24 hour cloud storage, no wires to connect, and never have to worry about batteries dying or needing to be recharged or replaced. Allows 2 way communication, and is pretty discrete.
Here’s the bad of it: For cloud storage above 24 hours you’ll need a monthly subscription, which I get it. Also motion detection requires the same monthly subscription. I tested out the motion detection for a while and got so many false alerts because this is a light and attracts bugs naturally which set it off. Now they claim to have added a new setting for motion sensitivity, but I haven’t tested it out. I was so put off by the fact that I got a notification every minute of the day by a false motion sense.
I don’t use this as my primary camera, I use the ring. However, it is a great camera if you know something happened and want to look back on it. For example, why is my gate left open. I check back to different times in the day to see if my gate is open or closed and once I see where it’s closed I know I have to watch around that time, and then I see my lawn man open the gate, and never close it. Or if I know I had a package on the bench and now it’s not there I can compare when my package was there to when it wasn’t and hone in on that time period. I just bought a second one because it works well.
There is a setting to schedule the lights going on and off. It used to not work great but I think it’s working again in one of the latest firmware updates.
I wouldn’t recommend paying more than $100 for it, but it’s great to have just in case you need an extra set of eyes. It provides a sense of security knowing I can check on my house (it works inside and outside too), should I need to. It can record audio too, so it’s great for listening outside if needed.

Great camera with amazing features
Comes with free 24 hour cloud storage and for the first month you get to try the 7 day storage. The lights are great and can be programmed to be turned on or off at specified times on specified days. There is a motion detection feature as well. I love that it’s always recording, unless you tell it not to. No wiring needed. The Snap2 allows for an Ethernet connection. The worst part of this camera, if I can be real, is that the motion sensor seems too sensitive even if you adjust the settings and turn on human detection mode.

Bright and easy to use
Installs like a normal lightbulb with no setup. Turns on when you’re in the same room and turns off when you leave, after 90 seconds. I put it in my kitchen and now I never have to walk into a dark room or worry about leaving the lights on and wasting electricity. Also the bulb lasts 22 years and is bright.
