Filter is too turbulent

Everything seems great about this aquarium until you put fish in it. The filter runs so fast the fish have a hard time keeping up! I have tried to figure out how to turn the pump down so it does not run so fast, but there is no adjustment. I have tried to figure out how to talk to someone about the filter but can't figure that out also. We have killed 7 fish, so I am going to have to pack the tank up because I do not want to kill anymore fish. If someone can tell me how to turn the pump down so the water is not so turbulent that would be great! update: still killing fish because the filter is too turbulent. The picture shows a lot of fish is the tank, but fish sellers will tell you that for every one inch of fish you need 1 gallon of water, so that very much limits the amount and type of fish you can put into a 3 gallon tank. One more thing I did try a beta in the tank and it had to keep its little fins moving so fast to keep itself out of the filter, the filter is so good and fast it keeps the tank clean but fish have a hard time staying out of the filter and getting pushed back down to the bottom of the tank. Oh well I am packing it up and will try and sell it at a garage sell.

do not bother

It does not power up what I thought it would by the description of the product, I am trying to return it and not getting a response.
