A GREAT TALE
A great tale any theatre buff would enjoy. I compare it to Garson Kanin's "SMASH", which tells the story of the mounting of Funny Gir; however in that book, there are euphemistic terms used for the musical and the Barbra Streisand character is only referred to as STAR.
Diary of A Mad PLaywright is more intimate, and you feel like you are being told the story by the author in an in-person conversation. A great read, an a terrific XMAS present for anyone who loves theatre.
