Washing Machine Bearing Replacement.
Note! My machine was an LG WD11020D but on viewing other videos it seems lots of other brands are very similar. Fitting the new bearings (2) is a big job for the home DIY person but by carefully recording the dismantle and watching the LG youtube video it can be done and is certainly worth the trouble. It took me the best part of 8 hrs being extremely careful and checking and rechecking the video before continuing. An extra pair of hands would have been extremely helpful especially in removing and replacing the drum but it was still fairly easy for this 70 year old first timer. I'd say a more competent DIY'er could have done it in half the time. Note that the bearing kit does not include the big drum seal but by being very careful I've managed to reassemble it without any leaks. This can be easily checked by leaving the bottom panel of for a couple of washes. The biggest challenge was removing the control panel and bottom panel which are clipped on, even being extremely careful I managed to break one connector and it's only after removal that you can see how it could be done safely. The end result was extremely satisfying with the machine now quieter than new.

Cheap Multimeter
I bought this to replace an old one that died after about 15 years. I mostly only use it to test batteries so using none of it's capabilities, but if that's all you need it for this one fits the bill. It seems to be well built, a bit larger than the previous one but not much and it's fairly rugged for getting pushed around it the tool box. I'm very happy to recommend it.

Mercedes Wipers
I have just received my new wipers so can't really say how well they do the job but I can say that they were very easy to fit and when I checked them they worked perfectly, very smoothly and quietly. I was replacing the original 14 year old wipers with these (same) recomended ones from the manual because one was jumping a bit and noisy. The new ones seem to be of excellent quality and hopefully will continue to operate as quietly and efficiently as they have in the trial.
