Disappointed in the product and ink cartridge requirements.

I cannot get this printer to print due to it requires you to use only HP newer generation ink cartridges and won't work with any remanufactured cartridges. It would sure be nice if the manufacturer or the seller could be more specific when purchasing this product. Apparently HP 61 ink cartridges are not interchangeable for this printer and it depends on the symbol on the cartridge and not the cartridge numbers. Now I know why this printer was so reasonable to buy and may have to shop for a different one if it is going to be that particular about the ink it uses. The printer description says it's HP deskjet 2542 but is really HP deskjet 1512. Very misleading to the purchaser.
