A Rhine Journey
Scenes of the old steam paddle wheeler Goethe are just some of the delights of this video of Rhine River traffic, on water and rail beside the water. A narration provides the history of the many castles and fortifications that were built centuries ago, some restored and some not. This is an interesting pairing of water and rail transport operations.

Excellent Study of the Making of an Airplane
This book is the companion to the PBS series "21st Century Jet" and offers much additional detail on the designing, building and testing of the Boeing 777, arguably the most progressive commercial airliner design of the late 20th Century. Although sometimes overwhelming in detail, Sabbagh manages to enable the reader, uneducated in plane making to comprehend the complexities of such a massive engineering endeavor.
