Beautiful and thoughtful
Beautiful and thoughtful a comprehensive companion book to the film of the same name Standing with Stones. Rupert is a first class photographer and his interest in prehistory shows on every page. Highly recommended. Wish I had known about this book years earlier.

Who am I? Who are we?
Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead will not be every ones cup of existential cup of tea. It is verbose, obtuse and obscure but that is the fun of this film. A film about extras in Shakespeare's Hamlet asking the perennial existential question, "who am I" ??? Brilliantly written, directed by Tom Stoppard and acted by Tim Roth and Gary Oldman and never forget Richard Dreyfuss as the master showman. Critics reactions were mixed believing it did not transfer well from the stage to the screen, who cares I love the film - sure it drags in the middle but I return to this film every couple of years because I love it is four and a half stars from me.
