Beautiful, Compelling Stories
Beautiful, compelling, astounding stories. You will have many surprises, unless you grew up in the West Virginia mountains back in the 50's and 60's. I recommend you read the first story (Trilobites) first, then read the foreward by James McPherson, then read the rest of the book.

Great Early John Prine
Great early John Prine. He was a wonderful songwriter and singer. I loved this album in the early 70's. Having heard it again for the first time in decades, and being more experienced and nuanced now, I understand why his songs were so great. And he was a great performer.
