All you need
Easy to use. I never made a cable until now. The included instructions detailed the standard wiring layout. I watched a you tube video to get the technique for inserting the wires and that was it. Everything you need is in this kit. Just FYI, something I learned was the included splitter is only good for voice, it will not split data.

Works fine
I was once told by a repair guy at a small engine repair shop that if I changed my oil and filter regularly that the filter would not be the cause if I ever had engine issues. With that in mind I started buying the black b&s filter instead of the much more expensive yellow one and have never noticed any difference. So my experience says save money and buy this filter.
